What HogBoard does
with your data.

HogBoard is a native iPhone app for viewing analytics from your own PostHog project. It is designed to keep your analytics credentials on your device — the app is a window into PostHog, not a middleman.

Information you provide

HogBoard asks for your PostHog host, project ID, personal API key, optional project token, and optional website filter. These values are stored locally on your device, with private credentials kept in the iOS Keychain.

How the app uses your data

HogBoard uses your PostHog details to query analytics from your own PostHog project and show them inside the app. HogBoard does not run a separate analytics backend for your dashboard data.

App analytics

If you enter an optional PostHog project token, HogBoard may send basic app usage events — such as screen views and refresh actions — to the PostHog project you configured. If you leave that token blank, this app-side instrumentation is not enabled.

Payments

HogBoard does not currently process in-app payments, free trials, subscriptions, lifetime unlocks, or purchase restores.
